The formats are as follows:
– Symposium (SP) – a group of communications centred on a thematic line. Symposia consist of 05 oral presentations. Symposia can be presented in person or online format.

– Oral Presentation (OP) – presentations of original empirical research or meta-analyses/literature reviews. Oral presentations can be presented in person or online format.

– Workshops – Educational sessions on a specific theme to be held before or during the Conference.

– Posters – Presentation of original empirical research or meta-analyses/literature reviews in a poster session.

Awards

In order to recognise the merit of researchers presenting communications at the Conference, awards are established. This distinction, as an encouragement for researchers, contributes to their commitment to research and enriches their curriculum.

Two awards are established:

– Researcher of Merit Award: aimed at rewarding researchers in general whose work stands out at the Conference.

– Young Researcher of Merit Award: aimed at rewarding young researchers who have obtained a master’s degree less than two years ago and whose work stands out at the Conference.

To submit a free communication or a poster, you must fill out and submit the form by 1st May 2024.

In this form, you should identify: (1) the authors, their affiliations, and contacts; (2) the author responsible for the presentation and their contacts; (3) the thematic line where the work fits in; and (4) the format you prefer for the presentation (oral or poster).

Submission of Oral Presentations and Posters: the abstract of an oral presentation or poster should follow the following structure:
– Title: Should be a maximum of 12 words.
– Body of the text: Should have a maximum of 1500 characters with spaces (approximately 200 words), including:  
Introduction: Main objectives of the study, including theoretical framework, research questions, or theory to be tested.
Method: For quantitative studies, describe the design, participants, and instruments used; for qualitative studies, describe design, participants, data collection methods, and data analysis methods (e.g., grounded theory or discourse analysis).
Results: Provide a brief description of the empirical results.
Discussion: Conclusions and/or discussion about the possible contribution of the study to Clinical and Health Psychology.
You should not include a list of references at the end of your abstract.

If presenting an oral presentation, adhere to the following guidelines:
– Presentation: duration of 10 minutes

SUBMISSION OF SYMPOSIA

To submit a symposium, the coordinator of the symposium must fill out the form by May 1, 2024.

In this form, you should identify: (1) the symposium coordinator, their affiliation, and contacts; (2) the moderator and their affiliation (optional); (3) the thematic line where the symposium fits in; and (4) the presentation format desired.

Submission of Symposia

The presentation of the symposium should follow the following structure:
Title: should have a maximum of 12 words.
Symposium Abstract: should have a maximum of 2000 characters with spaces (approximately 300 words), including:
Objectives: describe the main objectives you intend to achieve with the symposium.
Relevance: justify the relevance of the symposium in relation to the theme of the Conference.
Summary: description of the symposium as a whole and integration of individual presentations, indicating their order.
Abstracts of individual presentations: the abstracts of individual presentations that make up the symposium should follow the submission instructions for Oral Presentations.

NOTE: Oral symposia will have either 5 presentations (without a moderator) or 5 presentations (with a moderator). It is the coordinator’s responsibility to collect and submit the individual presentations that make up the symposium.

SUBMISSION OF TEXTS FOR THE PROCEEDINGS BOOK

To submit a text for the proceedings book, you must send it by May 15, 2024, to the following email: conferenciaspcs.ubi@gmail.com.

Each author cannot submit more than two texts as the first author. The work presented for publication must have exactly the same title and the same authors as the presentation proposed at the Conference. If the presentation to the Conference is rejected by the scientific committee, the work will not be published. Editors will reject texts that do not comply with the rules mentioned above and those that they consider not to have an appropriate scientific level for publication. Only works in which the first author is registered at the Conference will be published.

Format the document according to the following standards: The text should have a maximum of 10 pages, including title, authors, abstract, text, and references. The page format should be A4, with a top and bottom margin of 2.5 cm and left and right margins of 3 cm. The font should be Times New Roman, 12pt, justified, with 1-point line spacing and 12 points between paragraphs (space after the paragraph). Separate new titles with a blank line. The provided template already includes this formatting, as well as formatting for titles and subtitles, tables, figures, and qualitative data. Citations and references should be presented according to APA guidelines.

  • Information:

– All participants with approved presentations must have their registration and payment completed by May 16, 2024.

– All participants with approved oral presentations (on-site or online) must send the presentation PPT by May 18, 2024, to conferenciaspcs.ubi@gmail.com.

– Participants interested in having their works published as a book chapter with an ISBN should send the full texts by May 15, 2024.
